Journey around the world – Hanover Zoo

At Hannover Adventure Zoo, visitors discover seven lovingly designed theme worlds with over 3,300 animals. Visitors experience an impressive, diverse animal world & and at the end of the day can look back on a journey around the world through the countries of Africa, North America, Asia and Australia. Learn more about the animals and watch the different feeding and animal shows. Animal keepers will tell you interesting facts about their charges.

What you can do:

Get up close to the African savannah with lions, giraffes and zebras, explore the world of Australian kangaroos and koalas, see the majestic elephants and tigers of Asia and learn about the native species of North America. Hannover Zoo also has a lot to offer during the festive season. During the cold season it is transformed into a sparkling landscape with breathtaking light installations and imaginative illuminated figures. Stroll through the Christmas Garden and experience the animals in a very special atmosphere. Visit Hannover Adventure Zoo for an unforgettable journey through the world of animals. What is the entrance fee and what are the opening hours?

Hannover Zoo is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 16:00. On these days you can choose between an Early Bird ticket, a Clever day ticket or a Flex day ticket. We hope you enjoy your visit.

How do you get to the Hanover zoo?

The Adventure Zoo is conveniently located right next to the Eilenriede forest in the centre of Hannover. If you are travelling by car and using a navigation system, simply enter this address as your destination: Adenauerallee 1, 30175 Hannover. There are 770 parking spaces at the zoo.
