” text_left=””>The restaurant is named after the fountain in the courtyard, which still stands today and in which fish swim around. As a visible sign of the enjoyment that has always been at the heart of the Brunnenhof, Wilhelm Rüter left the kitchen open, with an unobstructed view of the work being done at the pots and stoves. Watching the hustle and bustle today whets the appetite for freshly prepared classics and delicacies from German-speaking kitchens, such as Wiener schnitzel, trout Müllerin, onion roast, or Grandma’s beef roulades, braised in Burgundy sauce with green beans and parsley potatoes – home cooking at its best!

 

In keeping with the family atmosphere of the place, a large selection of wines from predominantly German growing regions is offered—including a good dozen selected red and white wines, as well as sparkling summer rosés served by the glass. Seasonal specialties set culinary highlights for private and business gatherings. These include delicious moments with fresh asparagus from the region, young matjes herring from Holland, fine mushrooms from chanterelles to truffles to porcini, game from national stocks, but also winter favorites such as goose, duck, or delicious pork dishes from suckling pig.

In our bright, elegantly rustic dining room, we serve traditional delicacies at affordable prices, as well as modern regional classics, local favorites, and sumptuous daily specials. In our open kitchen, we prepare everything on-site and to order—even for takeout to enjoy at home or at the office. We use only market-fresh ingredients. With a selection of five to seven daily-changing lunch dishes (three of which are for our guests in a hurry), along with homemade soups and salads, there’s something to satisfy meat and fish lovers as well as vegetarians.

Discover the elegant, evening side of the Brunnenhof with its new, sophisticated Fine dining concept. Our Michelin-starred chef and his team invite you on a culinary journey of indulgence with three to four courses. Despite a down-to-earth focus that runs like a common thread through the weekly changing menu, there are no (regional) . We can recommend corresponding wines to accompany all dishes. The menu is also ideal for private or business dining, for occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, or business get-togethers.

The Cherry Room – the separate club room

The separate club room at Restaurant Brunnenhof can accommodate up to 25 people and can be rented exclusively. The small, cozy, rustic hall is panelled with precious cherry wood cassettes, giving it its characteristic warm reddish-brown tone. Whether Birthday parties, anniversaries, private or business events, or other celebrations in a smaller group—the Kirschzimmer is perfect for a variety of wonderful occasions. The Kirschzimmer is available for private events and can be booked for birthday parties, anniversaries, private or business events, or other celebrations in a smaller group.
